DANIEL URIBE JARAMILLO

A sociologist from the Complutense University of Madrid and founder of La Linterna.

He currently leads research projects in Mexico, the United States, and Colombia, working with production companies on the development of series and audiovisual projects. His work combines archival research, primary sources, and fieldwork to understand what happened, who was involved, and where the dramatic core of each story lies.

CAROLINA URIBE JARAMILLO

A political scientist from the University of Los Andes (Bogotá, Colombia), she holds a master’s degree in journalism from the newspaper El Mundo (Madrid, Spain) and has completed doctoral studies in Anglo-Saxon literature at the Autonomous University of Madrid (Spain). She has worked for various media outlets and Spanish publishing houses, as well as multilateral organizations. Since 2020, she has worked in research for story development.

OLGA BEHAR LEISER

A Colombian journalist, political scientist, and writer with over 40 years of experience in print, digital, audio, and audiovisual media. She has been recognized with the Simón Bolívar Prize and the CPB Prize.

She is the author and co-author of more than twenty books, including *The Wars of Peace* (vols. I and II), *The Clan of the Twelve Apostles*, and *Operation Palomera: The Beginning of the End of the FARC*, with a focus on investigative journalism and real-life literature.

She was a tenured professor at Santiago de Cali University until 2024. She currently develops stories with La Linterna for audiovisual and audio projects.

ENRIQUE ALVARADO GÓNZALEZ

Journalist and documentary researcher. Holds a degree in Communication from UNAM (National Autonomous University of Mexico). He was a researcher for the series ‘LeBarón, Death in the Promised Land’, winner of the 2025 Aura Award. Co-author of the book ‘Animal Trafficking, Illegal Trade in Mexico’. Honorable mention in the 2019 Gender and Justice Award. He has written for publications such as El Universal, Vice, Animal Político, Milenio, France 24, and Post Opinión (the Spanish-language opinion section of The Washington Post).

ROBERTO GARCÍA MARTÍN DEL CAMPO

A media researcher based in northern Mexico, his work combines open-source intelligence (OSINT) and audiovisual analysis methodologies, generating research materials for documentary and fiction series. A graduate in Communications from Tecnológico de Monterrey, he has ongoing training in fields of study focused on historical memory and territory, and recently completed a diploma in Forensic Architecture at Universidad del Rosario.
